Alan B. Gallas, Partner Alan Gallas received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 1975 and his law degree from the same institution in 1978. He is licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of Missouri and Kansas and is admitted in the Eighth Circuit and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Alan, together with Mark Schultz founded Gallas & Schultz in 1992. The firm emphasizes enforcing creditors' rights in commercial and consumer transactions. Alan oversees all civil litigation for the firm and actively handles a wide variety of cases involving commercial litigation, employment law and real estate. |

Alan has been active in commercial activities in the Kansas City community, in addition
to practicing law. He currently is a Director and Assistant Secretary
to The Industrial Development Authority of Jackson County, Missouri.
He is a Past-President and Former Director of The Credit Association of Kansas
City, Missouri. Alan has Chaired Bar Committees related to credit and collection
including The Missouri Bar Civil Practice and Procedure Committee, the Solo and
Small Firm Committee and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association's Commercial
Law Committee and Associate Division Committee. Alan was appointed by the Supreme Court of Missouri to the Court's "Civil Jury Study Committee". He has also been recognized for his contributions to The Missouri Bar having received a President's Award and most recently, "The Purcell Professionalism Award".
