Actions on contracts and notes: the pursuit of a money judgment where the borrower fails to pay, or where a party to a contract fails to perform. 4. Mechanic's liens: the creation and enforcement of liens on behalf of material suppliers, contractors and subcontractors in Missouri and Kansas. 5. Real estate foreclosures: exercising the Power of Sale in deeds of Trust for non-judicial foreclosures in Missouri and judicially foreclosing mortgages in Kansas. |
BANKRUPTCY GALLAS & SCHULTZ provides its clients with a variety of services in the United States Bankruptcy Courts, including the following: 1. NATIONAL CREDIT CARD BANKRUPTCY ABUSE PROGRAM: through a network created by the firm, lawyers throughout the United States seek a determination of nondischargeability for credit card obligations incurred in violation of Section 523 of the Bankruptcy Code. 2. Motions for Relief from Automatic Stay and for Adequate Protection: motions filed in the Bankruptcy Courts to permit clients to continue to pursue rights as provided for by Section 362(d) of the Bankruptcy Code and/or adequate protection as provided for by Section 363(e) of the Bankruptcy Code. 3. General Representation of Creditors: the firm has many years of experience representing creditors in cases filed under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code.
